1. Introduction
By accessing or using www.epic-rare.com (“Epic Rare”, “we”, “our”, “platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern your use of the Epic Rare platform and all services offered through it. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must refrain from using the platform.
2. Business Model and Commission
Epic Rare operates as both:
- An online store for a curated range of collectibles, trading cards, and related items, and
- A consignment-based marketplace, allowing users to submit products for sale, subject to Epic Rare’s approval.
When a consigned product is sold:
- Epic Rare collects payment directly from the buyer.
- A 20% commission is deducted from the final sale price, plus applicable processing fees for Consignment Proceeds if applicable, in accordance with the Consignment Agreement and Section 3 of these Terms.
- The Seller is entitled to the remaining amount, referred to as Consignment Proceeds, which are settled in accordance with Section 3.
Epic Rare is the merchant of record and does not hold user Consignment Proceeds.
3. Settlements and Withdrawals
- Settlement Timeline: Consignment Proceeds are settled to Sellers 5 calendar days after the product is delivered and confirmed as final (non-returned).
- Minimum Settlement Threshold: Sellers must accumulate at least 300 QAR in Consignment Proceeds to be eligible for a standard settlement without additional fees.
- Below Threshold Requests: Settlement requests below 300 QAR may be approved; however, a bank transfer fee of up to 15 QAR will be deducted in addition to the standard commission.
- Settlement Requests: Sellers must submit settlement requests through the dedicated request page. Requests received by Friday 8:00 PM will be processed in the following cycle.
- Processing Time: Settlements may take up to 5 business days to reflect in the Seller’s bank account.
- Expedited Settlements: Sellers may request expedited settlement outside the normal cycle. Such requests are subject to an administrative fee of 20 QAR and Epic Rare’s approval.

4. Product Listing and Hold Policy
By submitting a product for listing, sellers agree to:
- A minimum hold period of 30 calendar days.
- No early delisting or return of a listed product unless formally approved by Epic Rare.
- Responsibility for any delivery fees starting from QAR 20 in case of early return.
All product listings are reviewed for:
- Authenticity and legitimacy,
- Realistic and fair pricing,
- Accurate product condition representation,
- Compliance with local laws and platform standards.
Epic Rare reserves the right to reject, remove, or suspend any listing at its sole discretion.
5. Deliveries and Pick-Ups
Delivery Policy:
- Standard Deliveries: Every Wednesday between 2:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
- Cut-off Time: Orders must be confirmed by Tuesday 8:00 PM to qualify for same-week delivery.
Delivery fees are listed under Section 3. Delivery fees are non-refundable.
Pick-Up Policy:
- Scheduled upon user request, conducted between 2:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
- If rescheduling is required, Epic Rare will notify the user within 48 hours.
6. Returns and Refunds
- Products sold by Epic Rare may be sealed with security tape for buyer protection where feasible. For certain products, particularly larger items or categories where sealing is not practical, Epic Rare may apply alternate protective measures to ensure authenticity and buyer confidence.
- Returns are accepted within 3 calendar days of delivery under the following conditions:
- The security seal (if applied) is intact and untampered, or
- The product is materially different from the listing description, or an incorrect item was delivered.
- Products that cannot be sealed will still be subject to inspection and must be returned in the same condition received.
- If seals are removed, broken, or products otherwise tampered with, the item will not be eligible for return unless there is compelling evidence of misdescription.
- Return requests must be submitted within the 3-day window and include supporting evidence (e.g., unboxing video, detailed photos).
- Refunds apply only to the sales price. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
- Epic Rare reserves the right to accept or deny return claims based on supporting evidence.
7. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers on Epic Rare agree to:
A. Clearly state the condition of the product in the listing (e.g., new, used, sealed, graded).
B. Disclose any scratches, bends, tears, stains, or other flaws in the product description.
C. Be fully informed of and compliant with Epic Rare’s policies and listing rules before publishing any item.
D. Provide accurate, honest, and clear descriptions that are not misleading.
E. Ensure all listed products are authentic. Fraudulent goods will result in suspension and legal follow-up.
F. Price products fairly based on condition, rarity, and current trends, ensuring prices are not highly inflated or abusive. Epic Rare may reject or adjust listings deemed unrealistic.
G. Acknowledge and accept the 30-day hold period for all listed products.
8. Buyer Responsibilities
- Buyers must read the entire product listing carefully before making a purchase.
- Epic Rare features pre-owned or secondhand items, which may have varying subjective conditions.
- Certain products may be inoperable due to their used condition, and buyers accept this risk when purchasing. Epic Rare does not guarantee the functionality of used items unless explicitly stated.
- By completing a purchase, the buyer accepts the stated condition and waives claims based on cosmetic or minor grading disagreements.
9. User Classifications
Epic Rare may assign user statuses, tags, or loyalty tiers based on:
- Volume of sales or purchases,
- Rule compliance,
- Community participation and event involvement.
These classifications may affect access to promotions, features, or support levels.
10. User Conduct and Platform Use
Users may not:
- Attempt to evade platform fees or policies,
- List inaccurate or illegal items,
- Harass or threaten other users,
- Exploit the return policy or engage in dishonest activity.
Violations may result in account restrictions, removal of listings, or permanent suspension.
11. Account Security
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. Epic Rare is not liable for any unauthorized use of an account unless due to its own negligence.
12. Limitation of Liability
Epic Rare is not liable for:
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunity,
- Delays from third-party delivery partners,
- Disputes between users,
- Product issues after removal of the security seal,
- Products that have been tampered with, altered, or materially modified from their original condition.
Except where expressly stated in writing, all products are sold on an “as-is” basis without any warranties, express or implied, regarding condition, operability, or future value.
Our total liability is limited to the fees paid to Epic Rare in the past 6 months.
13. Force Majeure
Epic Rare is not responsible for service disruptions or failures due to external circumstances including but not limited to natural disasters, internet outages, or government restrictions.
14. Inactive Accounts
If a user account remains inactive for more than 1 year:
- Epic Rare will attempt to notify the user via the registered email or phone number.
- If there is no response within 30 days, the account will be marked dormant.
- Sellers with consignment items listed will be contacted to retrieve unsold products. If no response is received, Epic Rare may charge storage fees or dispose of items in accordance with the Consignment Agreement.
15. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property, including but not limited to the Epic Rare name, logo, website content, product images, and software, remain the exclusive property of Epic Rare. Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or exploit any content from the platform without prior written consent.
16. Indemnity
Users agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Epic Rare, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of their use of the platform, including but not limited to fraudulent listings, intellectual property violations, or breach of these Terms.
17. Age Restriction
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a legal guardian, to register or use the platform. By using Epic Rare, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
18. Privacy and Data Use
By using Epic Rare, you consent to our collection and use of your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not share your data with third parties except as necessary to fulfill services or meet legal obligations. Financial and transactional records related to settlements may be retained as required by commercial and tax law in the State of Qatar.
19. Return Abuse and Fraud Prevention
Epic Rare may restrict or permanently remove return rights from users who:
- Frequently submit unjustified or fraudulent return requests,
- Tamper with product seals,
- Provide exaggerated or false claims.
20. Language
These Terms and Conditions may be published in multiple languages. In case of a discrepancy, the English version shall prevail.
21. Modifications
Epic Rare reserves the right to modify these terms. Users will be notified at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after changes implies acceptance.
22. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar.
Any dispute shall first be subject to amicable settlement or mediation between the parties within 30 days of notice. If settlement cannot be reached, disputes shall then be submitted to the competent courts of Qatar.
