Cards Grading Scale:
Each card is thoroughly analyzed in four key areas and assigned an overall
grade based upon the card’s individual characteristics.
The chart below contains the basic criteria for each numeric grade.
Half-Point Grades:
Beckett Grading Services provides final grades in half-point increments (i.e., 10, 9.5, 9, 8.5 etc.). Cards that are assigned a grade with a half-point increment typically share characteristics from both the level above and the level below the actual grade given.

Multiple corner touches on the back will be present. More significant fill or fray artifacts are present under high resolution imagery.
SURFACE:
A larger and deeper pit may be present. May have 2 or 3 small pits and/or a longer scratch not penetrating the gloss. A small scratch that penetrates the gloss on the back is visible. Multiple, more visible print lines present.
EDGES:
Visible but minor edge surface wear on one or two edges. More significant fill or fray artifacts are present under high resolution imagery.
Grade: Near Mint - Mint
Score: 800 - 849
CENTERING:
Front image centered within a tolerance of ~65/35. For TCG, backs should be centered within a ~95/5. The back may show a tiny sliver of border, but may not be miscut or have a portion of another card displayed.

EDGES:
Edge surface wear and minor chipping is present on all four edges. Fray artifacts continue to become more visible and significant while very minor areas of fill start to show under high resolution imagery. Ticket Grading Scale:
The Beckett Ticket grading scale uses a simple 10-point grading scale, with descending increments of one whole point. Scroll below to see the Standard Grading Scale for Tickets.
A Pristine 10 ticket appears perfect with no visible flaws even under magnification. It must be free from staining, printing imperfections, and any signs of wear. This grade represents the highest standard of condition in collectible grading, indicating that the ticket is essentially flawless.
A Gem Mint 10 ticket appears virtually flawless to the naked eye, but minor imperfections may be visible only under magnification. This grade permits very subtle wear or minute print defects that are detectable only under intense scrutiny.
A Mint 9 ticket appears nearly flawless to the naked eye. However, upon closer inspection, it may reveal minor imperfections. These can include very subtle corner wear, slight print defects, or minor surface issues that do not detract significantly from the overall appearance.
Near Mint/Mint 8
A Near Mint/Mint 8 ticket may show very slight corner wear or minimal surface abrasions, scratching, or loss of gloss apparent to the naked eye. Additionally, the crucial event information must be printed with medium darkness to ensure readability.
A Near Mint 7 ticket, while still in good condition, will have more visible imperfections compared to higher grades. It may exhibit minor corner wear, hairline creases, light surface abrasions, and possibly minor print defects, such as slightly out-of-focus text. Importantly, there should be no paper loss present.
An Excellent Mint 6 ticket shows more noticeable signs of wear compared to a Near Mint 7. It may have corner fraying, minor creases, and minimal surface abrasion, scratching, or loss of gloss. Subtle ink marks are acceptable under this grade, and graphics or text may exhibit slight fading.
An Excellent 5 ticket may have multiple defects present including fraying on all four corners, minor surface creases, visible loss of original gloss, or minor paper loss present to the back of the ticket. More significant fading of graphics or text may also be present.
A Very Good/Excellent 4 ticket exhibits more noticeable signs of wear compared to an Excellent 5 ticket. Corners may be dented, and full creases or folds may be present. More pronounced defects, such as general wear, fading of graphics or text, minor water damage, or light stains, are considered acceptable.
A Very Good 3 ticket is like a Very Good/Excellent 4 ticket but may include additional defects such as tape residue or minor non-game related punches or holes. Discoloration, such as yellowing or fading of original ink, or darkening of thermal paper, may also be noticeable.
A Good 2 ticket presents as worn and may exhibit several defects, such as folds or full creases, deep surface scratches, significant staining, tape or glue residue, and paper loss on both the front and back of the ticket.
A Fair 1 ticket exhibits extreme wear, with multiple creases, scratches, non-game-related punctures or tears, and other damage. Significant staining, paper loss, warping, and discoloration may be present. Print defects are prominent, and crucial event information may be missing or difficult to read due to fading.
